-A caring house manager that’s part of the Acqua Recovery alumni community

-Comfortable furnished bedrooms

-Weekly meetings with all residents

-Encouragement to attend multiple weekly recovery group meetings outside the residence

-Available support

How Can Sober Living Help With Relapse Prevention?

Residential addiction treatment teaches those struggling with substance abuse the tools to build a foundation for a lasting recovery in the real world. The Guide to Living in Recovery

At Acqua Recovery, we care about helping our clients achieve freedom from addiction in a totally renewed life. That’s why we encourage the residents of our men’s sober living community to work or volunteer during their stay. We’ll help you find the resources you need to find a job or volunteer, including helping with resumes and preparing for interviews. By working or attending an IOP (intensive outpatient program) while in sober living, you will learn how to get the support you need when stress or triggers come along and help you work through those issues utilizing healthy coping mechanisms.

We also encourage our residents to attend at least four recovery support groups of their choice each week. Support groups such as, AA, NA, SMART, and others are helpful in early recovery, as they provide support and give a sense of community during your transition from residential addiction treatment back to real life.
